# Check points on Email verification error

If you are having trouble with the email verification process after you've signed up as a member, please follow the instructions below.

1\. First, check that you are signed up as a member from the <https://portal.dcentwallet.com/>

2\. If your email address has already been used for a member sign-up, it will show that your email is already used (duplicate).

3\. If the email address is valid to use for sign-up, you will see a screen that will prompt the user for password input.

4\. If you are not a member yet, you can proceed with the member sign-up.

5\. If you have already signed-up as a member, you can try changing the password.
